ICEF Public Schools Board of Directors

 

The Board of Directors for ICEF Public Schools has the legal and fiduciary oversight of the operating entity that employs nearly 400 people and educates more than 2,000 students annually. This responsibility includes all the requirements for a public entity, such as following the Brown Act for public meetings, formal board resolutions for state-required items, etc., as well as the important oversight of the CEO and senior management.

 

Members of the Board:

 

David Moore: David Moore is the CEO and President of Interconnect Solutions Group, Inc., an exclusive agent in Southern California for Glenair, Inc. With a Dartmouth College background, he has been an ICEF Board Member since 2003, actively engaged in community service and youth leadership. Mr. Moore proudly notes Dartmouth as the first Ivy League school to graduate an ICEF alum. Email David Moore

Dr. Angila Romious: Dr. Angila Romious serves as the Director of Institutional Research at Otis College of Art and Design and is a Sociology faculty member at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles. With expertise in institutional research, she also consults as an external evaluator for non-profits and businesses. Dr. Romious holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Social Ecology from UC Irvine. William B. Lucas: William B. Lucas, a Co-Founder and Principal at Cataumet Partners, brings his skills in wealth management, mergers and acquisitions to ICEF Public Schools. A graduate of Princeton University and Dartmouth College, Mr. Lucas is adept at interpreting complex numerical information. Email William Lucas

Dana Henry: Dana Henry, a Program Officer at the Weingart Foundation since 2020, focuses on grantmaking and funding strategy in South Los Angeles. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked extensively with vulnerable children and families, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Dana is a graduate of UCLA and the Los Angeles African American Women’s Public Policy Institute.  Email Dana Henry

Tramell Johnson: Tramell Johnson, a 12-year Air Force Veteran, holds degrees from Argosy University and the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. Previously serving in education and training management at Los Angeles Air Force Base, he is currently a consultant for Troops for Teachers.  Email Tramell Johnson

Ronda R. Dixon, Esq: Ronda R. Dixon, Esq., is a Pitzer College and UC Davis King Hall School of Law graduate. Ms. Dixon's career spans public and private sectors, currently serving as the principal of Dixon Justice Center. Involved in cannabis consulting, she is also a Policy/Compliance Expert for Green Believers. Ms. Dixon's extensive legal career includes work in entertainment law and leadership roles in nonprofit organizations, such as Dream-builders and Dixon Recovery Institute.  Email Ronda R. Dixon

Kenny Christmas:​​​​​​​ In January 2021, Kenny Christmas, Chairman of the ICEF Public Schools Board, assumed the role of General Counsel for MRC, a diversified global entertainment company. With a career spanning various roles in the entertainment industry, Mr. Christmas is a Yale Law School and Stanford University graduate. Email Kenneth Christmas

Dr. Brandon A. Roberson: Dr. Brandon A. Roberson, a scholar and education professional, established a school music program in South Los Angeles. After earning his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California, he supports ongoing learning and development for over 700 managers globally at Riot Games.  Email Brandon Roberson

Dr. Brandon D. Harris:  Dr. Brandon D. Harris has combined 8 years of non-profit K-12 experience with 11+ years in higher education to help partners and parents strengthen the onramp from college to career for inner city students. As an educator and practitioner, his role as Director of Assessment & Research at Loyola Marymount University informs leadership, campus-wide decisions, and adds value to the doctorate-level research methods courses he has taught at various institutions, including the Rossier School of Education at USC, and the Educational Leadership program at California State University, Fullerton.
